About Keyword Password Generator
Keyword Password Generator is a deterministic password generation tool that allows you to create reproducible, high-strength passwords based on keywords you remember. Unlike random password generators, this tool generates the same password every time you enter the same keyword and rules, eliminating the need to save passwords.
Key Features
- Deterministic Generation: Same input always produces the same output
- No Password Storage: You don't need to save passwords - just remember your keywords
- Local Generation: All password generation happens in your browser
- Hidden Salt: Automatically generated device-specific security seed enhances password strength
- Customizable Length: Adjust password length from 6 to 64 characters
- Multiple Character Sets: Choose from uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols
- Password Strength Indicator: Real-time password strength assessment
- Privacy First: No data transmission, no server communication
How to Use
- Enter Your Keyword: Input a keyword that you can easily remember
- Optional Site Identifier: Add a site identifier (e.g., "google", "bank") to distinguish passwords for different websites
- Set Password Length: Adjust the password length slider (6-64 characters)
- Select Character Sets: Choose which character types to include
- Generate: Click the "Generate Password" button to create your password
- Use and Remember: The same input will always generate the same password, so you only need to remember your keyword and rules
Important Notes
- Password Reproducibility: Same keyword and rules will always generate the same password on the same device
- Device-Specific: Passwords generated on different devices will be different due to device-specific hidden salt
- Data Clearing: Clearing browser data will result in a different password being generated
- Incognito Mode: Using incognito/private mode may prevent password reproducibility
Security Best Practices
- Use unique keywords for different accounts
